😘 - some making out, not super descriptive
🤬 - they are in high school and talk like it
14+ because of the high school atmosphere
This book was amazing! I expected it to be good but it surpassed my expectations and I loved it!! Thank you for Book Sirens for the ARC, this review is my own facts and opinions!

Maisy is a foster kid and doesn’t expect a lot when she goes to her new house. When she meets Tim and Amanda she is blown away. Their son Chris is super nice to her and they have a sibling bond. Her two younger siblings love the family too. And Chris happens to have cute friend named Colton. Maisy has to learn how to live life when she isn’t the one in charge, and how to deal with mean girls.

☆⛤♥⭑maisy⭑♥⛤☆
Maisy was such a strong character, she kind of reminded me of Carley Connors from One For The Murphys as she tried to be independent before finally letting Tim and Amanda in. Her bond and care for her siblings was inspiring, sweet, and heartbreaking at the same time

☆⛤♥⭑chris⭑♥⛤☆
Chris was so sweet and nice and probably my favorite character. Him and Maisy immediately bonded and it just made my heart happy how sweet they were to each other. I loved how he called her “Maisy Mae”. I would love a big brother like him!

☆⛤♥⭑colton⭑♥⛤☆
Colton was one of the best book boyfriends I have ever read. He was so sweet and careful with Maisy, not wanting to stress her out or take her too far. He was perfectly okay with her boundaries and waited for her to tell him things.

☆⛤♥⭑sibling bond⭑♥⛤☆
Chris and Maisy were so well connected and I loved it! They were so cute. Maisy’s bond with Nat and CJ was adorable, as well as Nat’s bond with Chris. This author did an amazing job making these bonds feel real, which can be hard to do.

☆⛤♥⭑romance⭑♥⛤☆
The romance came into the scene a little late, it felt like, but the romance was very real and believable. It was adorable and they were both respectful of each other.

If you are even thinking of reading this book, READ IT! You will absolutely love it!

Anything for You completely pulled me in. Maisey, the main character, is only 16, yet she carries so much emotional strength and maturity. She steps up in ways no child should ever have to, taking care of her siblings and putting their needs before her own. Her resilience is heartbreaking and inspiring all at once.

When Maisey and her siblings are placed into foster care, the story shifts into something truly beautiful. The family they are welcomed into is everything a family should be—supportive, loving, patient, and safe. Watching these kids finally experience stability and unconditional care was incredibly touching and emotional.

The romance was so sweet, for the teen age. The boys are everything they should be, protective and gentleman and kind!

This book highlights the power of chosen family, healing, and love in the midst of trauma. It made me feel deeply for these characters and root for them every step of the way. If you enjoy emotional reads with strong characters, sibling bonds, and the kind of family love that restores faith in humanity, this book is absolutely worth reading!

This was such a beautiful book!

I’m usually very aware of the writing in debut books but I try to keep in mind that it’s okay that it’s not perfect since it is an authors first book but this book?? So good. I have no complaints about the writing it was amazing. I’m so impressed since this is a debut book too!! I see so much potential in the writing and I can imagine the next book will be absolutely amazing and I’m so excited!!!!!!!!

Anything For You hit hard emotionally. The whole situation with Maisy and her siblings being thrown into foster care straight away sets the tone, and it just carries through the whole book. There’s this constant underlying feeling of uncertainty and trying to hold everything together, and I really felt that while reading.

What I loved most is how much this focuses on family as well as the romance. Maisy is trying so hard to stay strong for everyone else, and that really got to me. It made everything feel so real, it’s not just about falling in love, but about figuring out where you belong and who you can trust.

The romance builds alongside all of that, and I liked that it didn’t take away from the emotional side of the story. It felt like something that grew out of everything Maisy was going through rather than being the only focus.

There are definitely some heavier moments, but it never felt overwhelming. It just added to that feeling of everything being a bit messy and uncertain, which worked for the story. I ended up getting really attached to the characters and just wanting things to work out for them.

Although Anything for You is technically a YA novel, it was a beautifully written story with an emotional depth to be appreciated by all ages. A dive into love and family and siblings and trauma and loss as well as very YA themes of school pressures, mean girls, parties and periods. I felt like I knew these characters so well by the end and genuinely loved getting to know them and sharing in their life experiences. Highly recommend for anyone in the mood for a quick emotional read that tugs on your heart strings in all the right ways! 4.5 stars rounded to 5 🌟

I absolutely loved this book. I am very keen on books that make me cry and this book made med cry. I loved how the author carefully and lovingly wrote about addiction and foster care.

I fell in love with each of the main characters Maisey, Colton and Chris especially Chris (who are in high school). You just can’t NOT love him. The love Chris has for his foster sister Maisey and the protectiveness makes you want to hug him. Colton who is Maisey’s love interest shows the acceptance and protectiveness he has for her that makes you melt. And the fact that these 2 MMC are big hockey players make you love them both.

I loved how the author portrayed the FMC Maisey as strong and finding her voice despite everything what she has been through.

I highly recommend this book.

This book crosses many areas that most don’t and presents it in a great way.
Firstly you learn about the child welfare system and then progress to a great way to show many deal with the trials and traumas from this. Then as the great romance unveils it surprises you on how well this is put together and can really impact lives.

Oh gosh, I’m in love with these characters. This was everything I wanted and more. The story feels real, the healing is gradual, and the friendships are the highlight.
